Enjoy travel by horseback into Willmore Wilderness Park along the same routes taken by early fur trappers. Willmore is one of the last untouched alpine preserves on the planet, a truly historic area whose trails are carefully reopened, restored and maintained by The Willmore Wilderness Foundation.
Hiking and backpacking
Hiking in the Canadian Rockies is absolutely breathtaking with scenic trails and educational or historic sites near almost every venue we offer, including 750 km of trails in Willmore Wilderness providing access along all major eastern valleys with connections between valleys via high mountain passes. There’s an adventure waiting for everyone whether you’re a beginner or an experienced scrambler.
Hunting
There are hunting seasons in Willmore for trophy sheep, moose, elk, white-tailed deer and mule deer. Our outfitters can provide you with references and detailed information about hunting requirements and regulations.
Fishing
Fishing is permitted in most water bodies and water courses and is regulated by Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development. Everyone is required to follow sportfishing regulations.

Mountain Biking
The Eastern slopes of the Rockies are becoming well-known as a mountain biking destination with hundred of kilometres of open trails in wilderness areas.
